Learn all you need about AI
Education is a core part of Plateia AI’s mission to make knowledge open, inclusive, and accessible to everyone. Our educational seminars offer learning materials that lower barriers to understanding artificial intelligence. Designed especially for those without formal training, Plateia AI’s education initiatives invite anyone to engage, learn, and contribute to a shared culture of AI literacy in Greece.
Who We Are
We are a Plateia AI sub-team focused on AI education and outreach. Our mission is to make AI accessible to people who may or may not be familiar with it, i.e. high school and university students, professionals considering a career change or in-domain, artists and the wider public.
So far, we have supported the AI Summer School at NTUA (2025), and our members have also participated individually as volunteer educators across a wide range of ages, including work with vulnerable groups.
Unlike many courses and lecture-style programs, our teaching centers on the real-world impact of AI and the responsibilities that come with using it. We mainly focus on:

AI ethics, and responsible use by both individuals and organizations

How AI is used in social media and famous platforms in real time

Practical, hands-on examples of ML algorithms and how they enable user profiling

The role of personal data in the AI industry and how it shapes behavior
Our goal is to help people practically understand recent advances in AI, encourage open dialogue between practitioners and non-practitioners, and promote more informed and conscious use of AI.
